Roy Reynolds, with a background of over 40 years as award-winning illustrator, graphic designer, as well as fine artist, brings a unique combination of art to the Snake River Plein Air Painters organization.  His illustrative work is sharp, crisp, and colorful, as in the posters and cards he designed for the 2004 National Lewis & Clark Bicentennial Celebration. Take a look at the posters on Lewis & Clark.com. Contrasting that style, his 2007 one-man exhibit at the Art Museum of Eastern Idaho showed paintings with the loose, soft-edge brushwork we are familiar with when he paints plein air.

Roy’s multi-talent creativity is on display along the river bank in downtown Idaho Falls in form of the larger-than-life Trapper sculpture, result of a 2000 grant awarded to the City of Idaho Falls.
