An Idaho native, Joe Keller has traveled extensively but still considers Idaho the best base camp.  He is self-trained and has found the process artists use to simultaneously be the observer, translator, and recorder of images whether in nature on in the studio, to be an exhilarating experience.  He is a member of the local Fig Leaf Society, the Eagle Rock Art Museum, as well as the Snake River Plein Air Painters.
