For Rehle, painting has been a lifelong process of growth, challenge and excitement. Painting is like talking a journey to a
destination never reached. Painting is a creation, a conveying of spirit. Her oils and watercolors express the artist's appreciation of art, life and beauty. Color and beauty inspire her still life's and landscapes. She enjoys painting the scenic countryside of Idaho and the intermountain ..regions. Her oils and watercolors are in continual transition as she strives to connect reality with vision.
Inspired in her youth by Utah artist, LeConte Steward, Rehle later had the opportunity to study with him at the University of Utah. As Rehle and her husband, Chuck, raised their seven children, she painted and studied art with many professional artists from the United States and abroad.
Rehle has been featured in many local galleries and regional shows and received numerous awards. Her art is represented in may private collections throughout the world and is shown in galleries in Idaho, Utah and Wyoming. Her painting titled, Idaho Winter, was one of the top 50 winners in the miniature painting category in the recent Paint America contest.
