Mel Edmondson studied Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mel spent a year in Southern France during college studying art and painting at the Leo Marchutz School of Art and the American Institute in Aix-en-Provence. During her studies in France, she was introduced to plein air painting. Since these studies, Mel continues as an active plein air painter in Idaho Falls. She also teaches High School Art grades 9-12. The students keep her busy with all aspects of art."
