Mel Edmondson studied Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She now teaches High School Art grades 9-12. The students keep her busy with all aspects of art.

Mel spent a year in Southern France during college studying art and painting at the Leo Marchutz School of Art and the American Institute in Aix-en-Provence. During her studies in France, she was introduced to plein air painting. Since these studies, Mel continues as an active plein air painter in Idaho Falls.
